I started in public relations, interning at PR Firms in Los Angeles. While managing public image for celebrity clients, I saw, up close, how carefully a public self gets built and maintained. That experience is the reason "The Surrogate" and "Power!" both exist; I couldn't stop thinking about the gap between the image and the person underneath it.
At 22, I left the U.S. to pursue an International Master's in Screenwriting and Production in Milan, where I wrote, directed, and performed "Power!, a short film adapted from my own poetry. I'm currently developing a feature film, represented by a literary agent, and a debut poetry collection, "The Third Person Act."
Before any of this, I played Division I and III soccer through my undergraduate years.
I'm fluent in English and Italian and conversational in Spanish (B1).
