Teaching philosophy
I teach the way I write: from the ground up, treating craft as something built through repetition, honest feedback, and close attention to what's actually on the page, not abstract rules. Having built a nontraditional path into this field myself, I care about meeting students where they are, especially those balancing creative ambition with the practical demands of building a career.
